Tell the City How You REALLY Feel: UPDATE

Tell the City How You REALLY Feel: UPDATE

The public meetings were a success, well-attended and full of information. If you couldn’t attend, the online survey is available and you can still record your opinions! Rebecca Woodbury sent out this email from the City Manager’s office.

Thank you so much for attending one of the recent workshops on community engagement. Over 65 of you helped out in this effort and we are so pleased with the energy and ideas that you brought to the table. This is definitely proving to be quite the iterative process and that just makes it more exciting. Right now we are busy reviewing all the feedback received and incorporating the new ideas into the strategies. We have also opened up a survey online for people who did not have the opportunity to attend a workshop. The online survey will be open until November 10 at Feel free to share this with your friends and neighbors.

We plan on bringing something forward to the City Council in January and will let you know when there is something to see!

On behalf of everyone on the GREAT Subcommittee, thanks again for sharing your thoughts and ideas. If you have any questions or further comments on this topic, feel free to contact me at

Participate in a Discussion

We want to hear from YOU about communication and community engagement. This summer, over 1000 of you responded to our survey. Based on what you told us, we’ve put together some ideas and we want to bounce them off you. Working together we can create the community-city dialogue we all want. Join us in this conversation at one of three community workshops and share your ideas.
